My old friend Hanalei was back in town and the very talented designer Joseph Hu was kind enough to let us shoot his one-off piece “Buffalo Cupcake.” The outfit was designed and hand made by himself, which is unique down to the custom commissioned print. Joe was very insightful about fashion, which is extremely difficult in every aspect and requires a tremendous amount of talent to execute. My creative gap is still very large and I have a lot to learn about this lucrative industry. Hana’s positive attitude and input throughout the process made the shoot flow very smoothly. Big thanks to my brother Jon for assisting and lots of respect to both Joe and Hana!
